All natural latex compared to synthetic mattresses

Natural vs. Synthetic, you choose....

Here is alarming video that shows just how quickly a synthetic furniture catches fire as opposed to an all natural.
Not only does synthetic foams break down quickly but are highly flammable.

Why do they catch fire so quickly?  Because they are made of synthetic petro-chemicals.
Why did my mattress only feel good for 5 years?  Because it is made of poly-urathane foams
Why did my mattress quickly get body impressions?  Because they use polyester fiber for the quilting

Did you know, the government requires all mattresses to pass a prolonged burn test?
Why? Because synthetic mattresses are so highly flammable.
See this alarming video   http://www.mseenviro-tech.com/firefacts.html

Why should I care, my mattress won't catch fire?

Because the law FR1633 requires Mattress manufactures that produce synthetic mattresses
to make their mattresses safer. To do this, even more toxic chemicals are poured into the mattress.

Many chemicals used in conventional mattress manufacturing today have proven negative effects on health. Flame retardants such as PBDE’s (polybrominated diphenyl ethers in use until 2004), boric acid and antimony are highly toxic. Potent insecticides are often sprayed on mattress materials. If you hear that a mattress has been “treated for dust mites”, that means the materials have been sprayed or were soaked in an insecticide solution.

Common chemicals are antimony, TDI (toluene di-isocyante), styrene, butadine & soaking mattress liners in boric-acid (rat-poison) may have worrysome long-term effects on our health, especially children.

There is a safe alternative, SavvyRest organic latex mattresses do not have to use chemicals to make your mattress safer.

Mountain Air Organic Beds are organic & earth friendly

Manufacturing Process

The latex comes from the sap of the rubber tree, this rubber tree goes on to make more mattress cores.

The manufacturing process is earth friendly, no synthetic chemicals are used,
only small amounts of organic ammonia & sulfur as bonding agents.

25% of the pesticides in the US are used in the growth of cotton & washed off into our rivers & streams.

Our cotton and wool is grown in the US and organic, without the use of pesticides.

Our law-label is 96% Natural Rubber 2% Organic Cotton 2% Organic Wool & passes all safety test without chemicals.

Healthful Sleep

You will sleep better, feel better on a all natural bed.  Many people actually breath better.
It is great for people with health issues such as....

Bio-degradable

Tempered steel found in mattresses are difficult to recycle because they are difficult to break down.

Synthetic mattresses when broken down emit harmful toxins into the atmosphere.

All natural latex is easily bio-degradable, sending it back to earth without any toxic effect to the ground or atmosphere.

We really should be more aware of the damaging effects of a synthetic mattress. There are now a lot of mattresses that are not only fire-retardant but are also made from natural, non-flammable materials. Give your family a natural mattress. Babies, especially, have to be provided with safer mattresses. Memory foam mattresses, although good for back pains, may pose a bigger threat when it comes to fire hazards because of its chemical and highly flammable contents.
